The current and best way known for communicating ideas is taking place here in front of your very eyes on the television screen. Through the various wirings of today's Internet, current solutions mix about in the turbulent waters created by spinning electrons, stirring up events for a brave new world. Unless there was something Einstein failed to tell us about traveling at the speed of light, these messages will not be getting up any faster in reaching us. However more important than any of the hype that is out there, the question of the speed of change is still left unanswered for the coming generations.
'I had no idea he still worked for us...' Therein lies the hidden message. Do you understand the economy based on the Internet? Until the corporations think about restructuring completely, think hard about CURRENT SOLUTIONS for awhile. Don't let the corporations pass the buck on this one! If you haven't read the book by Phillip Dick "DO ANDROIDS DREAM OF ELECTRIC SHEEP?" or seen "BLADERUNNER" which was based on the book, someone is always wanting to feed you some story about how these new electronic networks and the memory banks will be beneficial. Because with these networks that ultimately control the banks and stock markets, someone can now look for images to take control over you: to sell you on the image of the perfect person. But is it really human?
You just have to think who is actually doing all the work at the banks when the ATM (automatic teller machine) is able to work everything out with your money. It seems that one day a machine may be well enough able to run things independently altogether. Then banks still will have to start new markets for gadgets like better body parts or even better, how about for memory transplants. What then, the machine will take on a human form and think by quickly processing through memory compartments like the pages that run over the Internet? The world's best chess champion has already lost out to a computer (and the new chips being studied to replace components these days are entering the chemical or molecular size so that they will shrink even further down a million times more). Talk on the news has it that they have grown skin in the laboratories, that human transplants are now routine procedure. Soon they will have to invent a better person or maybe even a robot to assimilate all the pictures and symbols racing over the Internet. Because with each quicker turning of the pages, the motion becomes like a motion picture after awhile. Where are memories going then? The Americana memorabilia?
If the corporations are starting to look for cover on the Internet by simply changing their names for their products, can you start to hear the subtle difference in price made with unmarked products being produced locally from your own areas? Or will the numbers show that all this goes beyond the range of a normal human ear? Don't tell the world that the only ones to hear the minute differences in the wide range of the sound waves will be those with the ears of dogs. Don't tell the normal person that he/or/she should be on the lookout for a better ear if it comes along on the market so he/or/she can hear a dog whistle!?!
It seems that in the NEXUS stage of machines or transition phase, CURRENT SOLUTIONS inc. are simply looking to give back into the community. A simple picture of small business that can do away with the need for dropping advertising in paper and having that American entrepreneurial spirit of haggling going onto the Internet in the form of an auction or garage sale. We may talk about these invisible currents of power and electricity as though we know more than we should. Maybe we already do. Made in America.
